UNIT TITLE: PERFORM ESTIMATION AND COSTING FOR ELECTRICAL HOUSE WIRING
UNIT CODE: CONElM4018A2
UNIT DESCRIPTOR: This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform estimation and costing for electrical house wiring. It includes preparing for works, drawing freehand sketches for electrical circuit, identifying side / place for electrical house wiring, estimating required materials for electrical house wiring works, human resources, labor cost and maintaining workplace, tools, equipment and materials.
NOMINAL HOURS: 50 Hours
LEARNING OUTCOME: At the end of this session, learners will be able to-
- Prepare for works.
- Draw freehand sketches for electrical circuit.
- Identify side / place for electrical house wiring.
- Estimate required materials for electrical house wiring works.
- Estimate human recourses.
- Estimate labor cost.
- Maintain workplace, tools, equipment and materials.
