UNIT TITLE: PERFORM CONNECTION OF CHANGE OVER AND INTERMEDIATE SWITCH

UNIT DESCRIPTOR: This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform connection of change over and intermediate switch. It includes preparing for works, installing change over switch, intermediate switch connection and maintaining workplace, tools, equipment and materials.
NOMINAL HOURS: 50 Hours
LEARNING OUTCOME: At the end of this session, learners will be able to-
- Prepare for works.
- Install change over switch.
- Install intermediate switch connection.
- Maintain workplace, tools, equipment and materials.

In addition to the online course . Physical demonstration is mandatory for this course , so i should go for Blended Course.
Lets go for 3 week of online course and 1 week of face to face training ( Blended Course ) .

( 5 days per week for 1 hour )
( Saturday - Wednesday )
Face to Face : 1 Week
( 5 days daily 3 hours and
1 day final assessment for 5 hour )

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is collected and worn as per job requirement.

- Switch is installed between generators and supplied power as per drawing.
- LT Panel is connected with generator and Sub-Station as per drawing.
- Switch performance is rechecked by operating change over switch.
