I would motivate her into positive mindset. Knowing the trauma of war, I would welcome her with warmth, friendly attitude & make her feel comfortable to put her at ease. Use easy language with clarity so she understands & is free to ask questions anytime she doesn't understand ..a feedback on daily lessons . During lessons, when & if I feel she's distracted, I can do icebreaking, with songs or poems..If she lacks in certain skills on learning , I will provide her with modular books with picture, share videos or share stories as example, or do role play so she retains or relate to the lesson. She's an eager learner, so I make it an interactive session, making sure I have her attention. And fulfill her full learning with satisfaction to nurture her progress. I will monitor her progress & make sure she's linked with organisations for further training & job placement.
