COURSE NAME:
The Basic Work of Household Cleaning
Short Summary:
To be able to carry out tasks on household cleaning, domestic workers will go through this course (unit of competency). This unit of competency will enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of domestic workers. The domestic workers will be taught through digital and manual (blended) sessions. There would be 4 days' online and 1 day's offline training. In each day of the online training there would be 4 hours duration of session demonstration; in total 16 hours. For offline or face-to-face training there would be 8 hours' sessions. For this unit of competency, trainees would have to be engaged for 24 hours online and offline study.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of this course, trainees will be able to:
- Identify types of domestic cleaning, cleaning processes and used materials
- Prepare cleaning schedules in consultation with the employer
- Identify cleaning classifications and perform accordingly
- Enlist jobs on a priority basis in the workplace and carry out works accordingly
Duration of online sessions:
- There would be 4 sessions of this online training.
- Online sessions will run for 16 hours through 4 days.
- Each session will have 4 hours online demonstrations.
- After completion of online sessions (16 hours) trainees will go for 1 day's physical sessions of 8 hours in training center or in job place.
- In total this course will run 24 hours' training through 5 days.
