Alberto Cattaneo, is professor and head of the “Educational Technologies in VET Programmes” research field at the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET). His main research interests concern the integration of Information Communication Technology (ICT) - and more specifically of visual aids and interactive videos - in the teaching‐and‐learning process, the exploitation of the boundary-crossing potential of technologies, instructional design, multimedia learning, and teacher (digital) competence professional development.
