Ready to start? Welcome on board! It is nice meeting you all on this e-campus.
This first module is an introduction that would revolve around the main concepts and definitions of e-Learning in TVET, helping us all to navigate together in this world. And I use the word “navigate” for a good reason…as you may have noticed the theme of the various parts of the platform for this course refer to the five elements of existence. The Welcome section is “Ether”, since E-learning is strictly related to it, while this module 1 will be on “Water” to start this learning cruise together, i.e. “we are on the same boat”!
After having read the information and completed the activities foreseen in the Welcome section, you will see there are six building blocks of module 1:
- an interactive presentation on the e-Learning and Multimedia landscape
- a self-assessment tool under the form of learning needs analysis
- an inaugural webinar to present the course and set the pace. As you will understand, we will have two synchronous learning moment every week, two webinars, which will help us being exposed to various experiences and viewpoints on the topic of the week, while also providing us the opportunity to foster our learning process through interaction with experts and within our community.
- Then you will be led into the magic world of the user experience, thorough reflection on the target of your learning experience and the need to empathize with them
- a first work on the learning outcomes to structure your project on
- the tool of action mapping to design your training activities.
